Recommended Open Source Drupal Theme that Works Well with CiviCRM
April 29, 2009, 06:48:44 am
Hey folks,

I'm working with a group that will be using an open source Drupal theme for a Drupal/Civi install.

Can folks recommend a theme or themes that works well with Civi?

Thanks,

Shai

Thanks...

Client doesn't want Garland. Can you recommend others... stated more generally, is there something to either look for or stay away from in choosing a theme that will work well with CiviCRM.

I use Waffles on my own development site, that works quite well.

Any simple, fluid width theme.

I usually use a fixed width theme for the front end site, and fluid width for CiviCRM.

I am wondering if we can collect some of our learning re themes and drupal and put them on a wiki page? I am thinking of a 'think about these things' list to give to designers/themers before the run off and come up with a theme/CSS that generates problems for civicrm pages.

Thanks eric - am awaiting input from a contractor who has done a couple for me and is about to do a third. So maybe by next week I will have something to throw in the pot.
