CiviCRM 2.x & Joomla 1.5.9

Hello,
Can anyone tell me about their experience using Civi's recent update for Joomla?  The brochure (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/72/details) sounds nice, but I am wondering if the core issues (some of which are described here (http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,505.0.html) have been resolved.

1) Does Civi and Joomla data now seamlessly synch?
2) Does Civi and Community Builder play nice together now?
3) I assume there is single sign-on functionality that works on the front end?

Any other things that we should consider / test before plunging in?

Many thanks,
Mike
