Is there an easy way to get rid of the "On Hold" status of many email addresses

I managed to send 100 out of 150 email via CiviMail

But 50 didn't go thru - probably just too many at once

And now those 50 email accounts are "On Hold"

Is there an easy way to get rid of the "On Hold" status all at once?

I did fix 20 manually (serially editing member info) and then sent those accounts the email

Attached is screenshot of "On Hold"  status

1 So I've found that I can create a "Profile" that includes the "On-Hold" field.

2 So then I go to "Manage Groups" and then choose "Bulk Update via Profile"

3 And then I change all the "1" in the "On Hold" Field to "0"

4 But the change doesn't take.

5 Looking at the structure of the MySql Civcrm_email database I see that there is a "Reset Date" Field for
("reset_date" When the address bounce status was last reset)

6 But I can't figure out if there is a way to get this field into the "profile"

we expose only a certain number of fields to the profile and seems like we dont expose Reset Date.

Can you try to reproduce the on-hold behavior on demo. If so, please file an issue

thanx

I have been trying to fix the "on hold" status on some accounts with no success, how do I go about this ? I dont seem to understand the explanation you gave.
Thanks.

Did this ever get resolved?  I now find myself with the same issue - 150 "On Holds" created before I noticed.

See http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,8328.msg36810.html#msg36810 for the mySQL workaround to this issue.
