Help choosing payment processor
April 30, 2009, 08:04:47 pm
Hello,

I've been searching the forum, but haven't been able to find any thoughts on payment processors. I'm in the US and have looked into Moneris because it is the recommendation of RBC bank. Can someone provide some thoughts and feedback on payment processors regarding the following areas...

  • Ease of use
  • Cost to use

Thank you for your help.

Hi - there's some info at this url and I found a few other posts searching on payment processor:

I think the ease of use for the end user is best is you choose a 'form' type payment processor (where they remain on the civi page 0 e.g. Paypal Pro (don't touch standard with a barge pole) or authorize.net or Elavon).

I can't advise on cost though

Whether you need to accept recurring payments could determine your choice
