Mailing starts but never finishes..

Twice in the last 7 days I've had mailing goe out that never complete.  One went to 53% complete and today one went only 15% complete.  What is the best method to debug this and how can I kick-start the mailing to complete?

I manually ran the cronjob routine several times and the job started back up again.  Why does the mailing not run to completion without having to do this?  On the prior run, re-running the cron job appeared to have no effect.

noticed u r running 2.1.beta4

u might want to upgrade to 2.2.2

did any other jobs finish completely in the last 7 days? Also do you have a mailer spool limit. Can you check your php logs to see if any errors are being reported

I need to update my profile, I'm on 2.2.2, that's when the problems started.
