My larger mailings do not finish unless I repeatedly call the cronjob.
Each time I call it, I get a few thousand more emails submitted.  It often takes as many as 10 or so submissions to get through a job containing 30,000 emails or so (these are estimates, I have not kept careful track of the increments, will do so on the next mailing).

I tried that, but instead what happens is the initial job simply stops processing, and I must then submit another call to the cron routine in order for the job to continue processing.  Any idea why it would just stop?
