The following message is dispalyed on contribution setup page:

Create front-end links to this contribution page using the Menu Manager. Select Online Contribution and enter 2 for the Contribution id.

Menu Manager does not provide any such option?

When I try link to contirbution page it gives an error message.

Can someone tell me how to set up a link from a Joomal Menu item to a specific contirbution page?

Hi - please update your forum profile with the version of CiviCRM, Joomla etc you are using. There are some issues w/ creating menu manager links for some configurations - so please search on the exact error message you're getting. Then post back here if you still need help.
