I've set up two forms -- one was a slight modification of the generic CiviCRM Profile (Name/Email/Zip) and one was a complete create to collect membership dues.

The site is live now (http://supportsdc.org/index.php?option=com_civicrm&view=Contributions&Itemid=119). Neither of the forms work though. You can enter all of your information, but when you click the save/submit button, it just reloads the page (and removes the modules on the right).

It throws no errors, and the new user is never generated in Joomla.

Oh -- Its Joomla 1.5 and the latest CiviCRM

Can you disable ReCaptcha in profile and check if that works ?

Same thing. Disabled recaptcha and after the information is entered and saved, it just reloads the page.

I think I fixed it. It had something to do with moving the Joomla/CiviCRM installation from a subdirectory to primary one. There must have been a reference in a file somewhere that I didn't catch.

The solution (for anyone who moves CiviCRM from a subdirectory) is to uninstall the component (through Joomla) and then reinstall it as a new component. It will say the install is being upgraded or something afterwards, but all of your information that was created in the staging directory will still be there when its reinstalled.
