I'm wondering if I could get some help with Pricing Sets.

I have a client who is looking to add discounts on registration fees if participants opt-out of certain things. For example, if they do not take a conference bag, they would opt-out and receive $10 off their registration fee.

If I put a "-10" in for the cost for pricing sets, the behaviour is wonky. It works fine for single checkboxes, but does not work for radio options or select options.

So, my questions are:

1. Has this been raised before?
2. Would this be possible to implement?

2. Yes it would be possible to implement. Most of the code should be in the file CRM/Core/BAO/PriceSet.php. Please file an issue and submit the patch back when you have fixed the issue. If you are not a programmer, you might want to consider hiring someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/
