Adding Custom Registration Fields

Given the way CiviCRM is designed, I know I'm just overlooking it.  Is there a way to add custom fields for the online event registration?  For example, if I have an event and am proiding T-Shirts, I would need a field for this, and let them choose their size.  If I am holding say a run which has a 1K/5K/10K option, they need to beable to select which one.

We are holding a bowling event, and I need to ad fields for team name and other 3 bwlers.  Is this possible?

Yes - create your custom data fields then add then to a custom data profile and then assign the profile to the event (in step of the wizard).

I some cases a $0 price set field is also a good option (eg if you are already using pricesets & the priceset custom search for the event in question)

Thank you for the help! I did find the section.

Maybe I am doing something else wrong. When I add this option it adds it to the event description page and not to the registration page itself.    ???

Custom Fields need to be set to Participant if it relates to people signing up to an Event. An easy oversight if that is what you did.
