I know the title sounds odd but here is the scenario.

If user goes to donate and come to the site without the www in the front and put in a donation value and there email address and click Continue it redirects to the home page with the www in front.

If user goes to donate by going to the site with www in the front of the url all works (kinda but a db problem with permissions...)

Anyway has anyone had this problem before?

Try googling htaccess redirect or try looking at links like this one

http://www.webweaver.nu/html-tips/web-redirection.shtml - around about the heading "Redirect www to non www version of site"

If people log into a page with the www and then click on a link that does not include the www their session may not persist - ie. they may not be logged in on the new session
