Problem with Hotmail and possibly clickthrough tracking
May 17, 2009, 09:29:55 pm
I'm having problems sending out email to Hotmail when clickthrough tracking is enabled. What happens is that the user gets redirected back to my site and then leaves the user at the site's homepage. It's as if url.php just truncates everything in the query string after the website address. Now the strange thing is that this only occurs in Hotmail! If the email is sent to a Yahoo! or Gmail account, it works fine. For now, I've disabled clickthrough tracking until this issue with Hotmail and clickthrough tracking gets resolved.
