Event registration and info pages on the front end of Joomla

I can't figure out from the documentation how you display event registration and info pages on the front end of Joomla to public users. I'm using Joomla 1.0.12 and CiviCRM 1.7.beta.9019.

Thanks. i did that. I updated my index.php file. None of the examples in step 2 refer to displaying an event info or registration page and the CiviCRM menu component doesn't have an option for selecting an event page, just profile and contribute. I'm feeling like I must be missing something obvious. Please help me even though I must look Pretty pathetic.
