Clear drupal cache after adding an event
May 26, 2009, 03:54:50 pm
I'm wondering if this has plagued others ...

We have several drupal pages that make API calls to create an event page or block listing.  they work great, but after you add an event (or any change) to civicrm, drupal doesn't know that it has changed and the event page doesn't update with the new information.

If i clear drupal's caches, the event appears.  We can change the php of the event listing to turn off caching (which is a shame since it gets hit all the time) but I was wondering if there is a way to have civicrm tell drupal to update its cache.  Not sure if anyone else has experienced this or if there is another suggestion.

Thx,

S.

I guess you can write a module that uses civicrm post hook to reset drupal cache whenever event is updated ?
