CiviMail reports Successful Deliveries 100% - BUT most were not received
May 28, 2009, 09:43:23 pm
Configuration:
 - Joomla 1.5.10 (Mail Setting: PHP Mail Function)
 - CiviCRM v2.2.2

CiviMail Configuration:
 - Spool Period 180
 - Batch Limit 0
 - Spool Limit 0

CiviMail mailing (to 1,044 individuals) executed via Manual URL (/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/mailing/queue&reset=1) over 12hr ago...  CiviMail reports:
 - Successful Deliveries 1,044 (100%)
 - Tracked Opens (96)

The concern is that although 1,044 were confirmed sent, I know of at least 8 (3 routed to me and 5 individuals I've spoke to) that have yet to be received - when I've tested previously, my 3 + 2 individuals worked flawlessly.

Since no errors were generated...  Any suggestion of possible issues & where I might investigate?

Thanks in advance...

Eileen

Yes...   Joomla 1.5.7 -> 1.5.10  & then clean install of CiviCRM v2.2.2

However, I just received a note from my Hosting partner explaining that there exists a limit on emails of 600/hr  & therefore 601 - 1,044 were blocked.

Therefore I need to set the CiviMail Batch Limit to less than 600 (I'll set it to 500) & create a CRON to execute every hour.

Question... If I do this, will CiviMail divide the 1,044 into three jobs (500, 500, 44)?
