problem entering donor program amounts in CiviContribute

I am having a problem entering donor program amounts in CiviContribute. The program is asking me to enter the Contribution Label and the Fixed Contribution Amount, but the code is presenting me with non editable text "Amount" field.

I have searched the forum without success. Any suggestions?

I'm assuming u r using the latest version of civicrm (v2.2.5). If not might be worth upgrading to the latest version

(u'll need to login as: demo / demo and click on the above link)

How does that page compare to the page on your site? (we cannot see the link you gave since its a protected link. You should not publish the password on the forum)

The problem is with Amount field is  it should show Text box but right now it is showing as non editable text( check attache file)

         Other then that everything is working fine  . can you explain how we can make  amount field as textbox ?

Weird - those fields are supposed to be editable text fields - and on quick glance I don't see any condition in the code that would make them read-only.  Are other amount fields in CiviCRM on your site working normally? (e.g. enter new contribution for a contact) Did you modify Localization settings for monetary display (shouldn't have affected this but maybe)?

I would try recreating the exact same contribution page on the Joomla demo as lobo suggested.

Hi,

       I was using Civcrm 2.2.2 and now upgraded to 2.2.5 still the problem is same . yes in event also it show the fields like fro reguler fee.

      I am not Civicrm expert this is my first time. but I checked code for it  Civicrm/admin/crm/contribution/forms/amount.php  and it doesn't suggest that it should show labels.

       Help me with this  I am using Jommla 1.5.10

Since we've never seen this behavior before, it's hard to help. I'm wondering if you're using a non-supported version of PHP?? (your profile doesn't have the exact version).

Please check the Monetary Amount Display under Administer CiviCRM >> Global Settings >> Localization. I had a hunch on this - and replicated something close to your behavior by setting it to empty. Also check the other money-related settings - and set them back to defaults if they've been changed. If that fixes things, let us know what settings you NEED (may not be supported though).

Default for Monetary Amount Display is %c %a
