Setting some User Reg profile to be 'collapsed'
June 03, 2009, 08:52:20 pm
Hi - goal is to include several Profiles in the User Reg - the first 'set' will include 'required' fields, the others will be collapsed in order to not scare people off by giving them too many fields.

Just checking that the approach for doing this will be via the same route as explained here http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Customize+Built-in%2C+Profile%2C+Contribution+and+Event+Registration+Screens

or is fact that this is part of the Drupal reg process mean it needs another approach?

Thanks

Hi Peter - pretty sure the customization technique is the same for the embedded profile forms. I guess you'll need to add some foreach code in the template to alter the HTML depending on whether the first or the Nth profile is being rendered. (I think the main tpl to work with is CRM/Profile/Form/Edit.tpl).
