The requested Profile (gid=) is disabled... error

I'm getting a

"The requested Profile (gid=) is disabled, OR there is no Profile with that ID, OR a valid 'gid=' integer value is missing from the URL. Contact the site administrator if you need assistance."

error randomly. Like on ever other form submission.

Any ideas on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You might want to check the following permissions under Drupal Admin → User management → Permissions,

  • profile listings and forms
  • access all custom data (if you intend to use custom data in your profiles)

I'm running the CiviCRM on a Joomla platform. Any advise here?

Also I noticed this doesn't happen if I delete my cookies before I re-submit the form or if I access the site as a new user (using a different browser or anonymizing service).

Can you make you sure profile which you are accessing his enabled and has Used For "Profile" checked  in Profile Settings.

Hi there,

You didn't seem clear on setting profile settings - this chapter is a really good primer on profiles - it's worth reading even if it isn't the answer to your current problem.  :D
