I have some individual records that their emails are not shown in search result list or smart group list. However, actually email is set in Main (primary location) in Summary.

Is there a flag to show email in the list other than is_primary of civicrm_email table?

I was wondering what the SQL is like to show search result.

hi

can you make sure is_primary is true from civicrm_email table for those contacts.
( There are some cases where we do create contact without primary location and showing as primary on summary page )

IMO we are showing only primary location fields in default search view.
for non-primary field profile might help you.
1. create profile.
2. add non-primary field with 'In Selector ?' ( ie Results Column? ) true.
3. use this profile for search. ( civicrm/profile?reset=1&gid=profile id ) or use in Advanced Search "Search Views".
