Team Fundraising & Campaign Pages

We are getting ready to launch our new website next week, and have had several requests to set up and offer "Team" fundraising pages.  Is this possible with CiviContribute, and if so, would it display the team names in top contributors?  It would seem that this ability should be available.  This is a major necessity for our organization, the ability to empower people to fundraise. 

If somene has already done this, is it possible that I can look at on your website so I cn get some ideas?

Can people create heir own "Team" fundraising pages through the Personal Fundraising Pages.

If not, has someone started to design a module or work-around for this?

We are also trying to do something similar (team fundraising).  We are just changing the labels on the PCP screens to show 'team' instead of 'personal'.

Website is www.milesforhope.org/joomla is the new area we are working on.  A team consists of any number of people across the US that might want to join forces and compete to raise funds to support our organization.

One thing is, I don't see how it would be possible, wthout reprogramming, that a person could "JOIN" a team, or group raising funds.

It seems like it would be an easy concept to add in, if I was a programmer.
