Mapping in a profile shows all contacts in the Map
June 08, 2009, 03:17:28 am
I have a profiles that is setup to enquire on the entire database by Group.

I do a query which lists all of the contacts under a specific group. When I click on MAP these contacts, every contact in the database is mapped.

Is this correct ?

Nope. It should map all the contacts shown in selector. Can you try to replicate this on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org

Bit difficult to re-create as this is a search from a profile that I access from the front end.

I'm pretty sure the profile search code is the same regardless of CMS and front-end / backend. So if you set up a profile on the drupal demo with the same searchable fields (e.g. search by group) - you should be able to demonstrate the behavior.
