Contact Merge goes to blank white screen

I am able to run the find duplicates merge in a reasonable amount of time, but as soon as I click on merge, I get the white screen of death.  How can I debug?

might first want to check your apache error logs and see what the reason is behind the WSOD

What's the url before the merge ? I had problems where it didn't go back to the right place/merge type/..


BTW, is there a way to specify that the merge should go to the merged full view instead of the list of mergable contacts ?

Currently no, but would be good to make this configurable. (for this and all other pages, maybe via a hook?)

Going back to the list of mergable contacts is also VERY expensive since it recomputes everything. I do think we should fix this for 2.3
