How do you rerun the DB update? Failed upgrade to 2.2.5
June 09, 2009, 12:38:28 pm
First of all I need to say that I came into this whole thing in the middle so I do not know what the original error was....

We are in limbo between DBs upgrades. It seems like we are missing some of the updates but not others. We do not have the skip_breadcrumb field in civicrm_menu but when I remove the old component (following the failed upgrade instructions) and run the install and DB upgrade I get an error that the table  civicrm_php_block already exists. I have renamed that table and tried to run the db update again it says I am already at 2.2.5.

How can I see what the upgrade script is to see if I have other tables/columns that I need to clean up?
How can I rerun the db upgrade?

Thanks,
Daria

This is not a CiviCRM related table.  Do you mean civicrm_pcp_block ?

I would recommend you should restore to original CiviCRM database and then run upgrade processt. Also what is the version of your current CiviCRM i.e before upgrade.

Sorry it is civicrm_pcp_block.

We had a failed 2.2.1 upgrade and I can't go back to that backup because it was months ago and there has been a lot of new data added since then.

I did go back to the pre-re-upgrade (from failed 2.2.1-2.2.5) and tried it again... It didn't help. Are you suggesting that I do it again and get rid of the civicrm_pcp_block and try it again. Then if it dies on another table am I supposed to go back and remove that table and keep doing this till I finally make it through??? REALLY?

This is so painful....

What was the version of pre-re-upgrade CiviCRM ?

Ping us  on #civicrm irc channel, will be easier to debug
