Profile fields not storing data - Drupal
June 09, 2009, 01:44:18 pm
Hello, I am new to civicrm. I have created a profile for people to apply to an internship, and set a standalone version on a standard drupal page, however, when people fill out the fields, it does not store the data anywhere I can find. Where would I look?

Thanks!

Is this a CiviCRM Profile (rather than a Drupal profile)? If so, and if the fields you put in your profile are "contact" fields - then CiviCRM should be creating a new record in civicrm_contact table - and you should be able to find the record from the Find Contacts search screen.

If you haven't checked out the new online book - Understanding CiviCRM - it might be worth some time browsing it (especially the section on Collecting and Exposing Data).
