I have a suggestion to save some steps for name-tags.

My suggestions, and not being the expert, I do not know how difficult it would be.

How easy would it to be to add the 'Mailing Labels' option in the '-more actions-' drop-down box after you have clicked on the 'registered/attended' link which shows the participants for an event (civicrm/event/search?reset=1&force=1&event=284&status=true)?  This would give a quick and easy way to print the name tag or badge without having to do a separate search.

Beyond that suggestion, is there an easy way to have more than one 'mailing label' setup in 'CiviCRM › Administer CiviCRM › Global Settings > Address Settings' so that you could have a default mailing label and name-tag saved at the same time?

I am using Drupal/Civicrm for my wife to manage a 900 member non-profit organization.  The work that has been put into developing this is wonderful.

I'm under the gun to get an event registration / ticket sales online within the next few days, and as part of this I may need to add the ability to print mailing labels from CiviEvent so that we can mail out the physical tickets to participants. 

I do have lots of programming experience, though not much of it is in PHP (lots of Perl, Java, C, R, etc.).  I'm only barely proficient in PHP.  But I do understand how to work with SVN, make patches, etc.

Is this something I could get some direction on for the technical aspects?
