I have a problem similar to some others here but in looking at them they were resolved by fixes that have done nothing for mine so rather then hijack a thread I decided to create a new one. If I should have posted in another I am sorry please let me know and next time I will.

I am trying to import using a csv in CiviCRM 2.2.5  At step 3 when i hit the import now button, I get the popup dialogue as normal but then it almost instantly continues on to the step 4 page without waiting for progress at all.

After going through the import process I check contacts and no new contacts have been created. Although the group i created to add them into has been created.

Attached is the CiviCRM log from an attempt at trying to import contacts.

did u upgrade to 2.2.5?

u might want to truncate your sessions table (jos_sessions in joomla), logout and log back in. this should hopefully fix the error

wow, logging out and back in seems to have fixed it, it is not skipping straight to step 4 at least, waiting for it to finish processing to see if it is all working now. Thank you!
