Is CiviCRM 1.9 compatible with Drupal 6.x and MySQL 4.1?
June 14, 2009, 10:00:25 pm
I could not find the requirements in the installation docs.

I saw that 1.8 was listed as compatible with Drupal 5.x/PHP5/MySQL 4.0

And 2.0 is listed as compatible with Drupal 6.x/PHP5/MySQL 5.0.

But for 1.9 it just says that support for MySQL 4.0 is discontinued and no Drupal version is given.

Thanks.

yes,  CiviCRM v1.9 does not support MySQL versions older than 4.1.x and require Drupal 5.x.

Hi-

Thanks for the links, they are helpful but I am still unclear (the link you labeled "1.9" is actually pointing at the 2.0 install docs)

Does CiviCRM 1.9 require only Drupal 5.x or at least Drupal 5.x? In other words, will CiviCRM run with Drupal 6.x and MySQL 4.1?

Our deployment environment will be: Drupal 6.x/PHP5.2.0/MySQL4.1.11a

Since CiviCRM 2.0 requires MySQL 5.0 that is not currently an option for us (unfortunately).

civicrm 1.9 requirements :
1. drupal : 5.x  ( only )
2. mysql : 4.1.x or higher.
3. php : PHP 5.2.x

civicrm 1.9 cant support drupal 6.x

might want to upgrade mysql to 5 then you able to install current stable release ( CiviCRM v 2.2.5 :) )
