Ajax Error
August 08, 2007, 05:31:24 am
Using CiviCRM 1.7.10272 when I click on a tab on the Contact view I get:

[Exception... "'Error: Permission denied to call method XMLHttpRequest.open' when calling method: [nsIDOMEventListener::handleEvent]" nsresult: "0x8057001c (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_JS_OBJECT)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]

in FF 2.0. Any ideas about this?

Thanks.

Googling this error - indicates this is a cross-domain scripting problem. So my first guess is that there is an inconsistency in your URL settings. Check  $base_url in Drupal settings.php (if it's set) and domain values in CiviCRM Global Settings >> Resource URL. Also, is Apache doing any redirects etc.
