Groups disappeared from Contact Dashboard dropdown (2.1)

I have 7 groups set up as Mailing List/Public User Pages and Listings and about 20 set up as Mailing List/Public User Pages and Listings. Only one of them is showing up in the Groups dropdown on the Contact Dashboard.

The Groups area shows up in the Dashboard fine as set up in Configure/Global Settings/Site Preferences.

Any help appreciated

You are checking in CiviCRM v2.1 right ?  You forum profile says v2.2 ? Seems to be working fine on my local install.

Can you also clarify your explanation of the problem - your current description shows the same visibility setting for your 7 groups and your 20 groups. ?? A few screenshots might help as well (contact dashboard, and manage groups listing).

Sorry, I meant 7 are set up as Mailing List/Public User Pages.

We're moving to 2.2, this problem is happening with 2.1.

**Update** I worked it out - all the groups marked as Public User Pages or Public User Pages and Listings were Smart Groups, and that functionality doesn't work with Smart Groups.
