Replying to unsubscribe address bounces

Replying to the unsubscribe address in a mailing from Civi bounces with this message:

Code: [Select]
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

    unsubscribe.1.220.1929.352baf0d23eb91562a21f6ecdb9fef3536c58186@MYSITE.org.uk

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1 User unknown (state 14).
Any ideas of where I should start looking for problems?

(Civi 2.0 on Drupal 5)

your email provider (mysite.org.uk) should be configured to accept all emails of type unsubcribe* / subscribe* / optout* etc

seems like it is not configured that way now
