Event & Drupal Registration
June 18, 2009, 08:28:29 am
I'm having a mid-afternoon brain freeze  ??? !

I stumbled upon this setting once before and applied it, now can't find it....

I would like users who register for events to also create new drupal accounts (so they can login and easily register for future events).

...Coffee time!

Two steps:
1. You need to have a Profile included in your event registration page.
2. Go to Admin CiviCRM >> CiviCRM Profile >> Settings (for that profile). Under Advanced Settings you'll see the option to allow (or force) anonymous registrants to create a Drupal account.

I have that option set. However, when I visit the registration page as an anonymous user, I am still not getting that option?

I tried several different themes (including unaltered generic Drupal ones) and the option doesn't show?

what options do you have for drupal registration? can anon users register and create an account?

from the help text:

In Drupal, this feature requires the 'Email Verification' option to be checked (Drupal User Settings)

if it still does not show up, might be good if u can help debug it. The code is in: CRM/Core/BAO/CMSUser.php

Thanks. I completely forgot to check there, as my sites always allow people to register. But this is a site I was helping someone install CiviCRM onto, and I forgot to check to see if they used a different setting.

*smacks self*

Silly me.
