Errors before upgrading

Ok, I'm following the upgrade instructions from 2.1.6 to 2.2.6

This is what I see. I do not want to proceed until these are resolved. Can anyone help?

1. are you running on a copy of the production db?

2. if so, waht happens when you enter upgrade. that warning seems a bit wierd and out of place

Production database? Yeah, this is my "real" database. It was working on 2.1.6 and I am trying to move up to 2.2.6.

I am not sure what will happen if I proceed. Should I? Seems like that's a whole a lot of problems waiting to happen if I do that? No?

i would definitely do it on a COPY of your production db on a test site and not on the real site. Not sure what will happen when you do it on a test site

Seems like you did run a 2.2 upgrade that failed (since civicrm_pcp_block is in 2.2 upgrade script). Someone will need to look at the schema and fix things. Your best bet would be to hire someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/. Web Access should be able to look and clean up the db. Alternatively you might want to restore your db from a clean 2.1 version before the upgrades

Ok, I will look into that.

Just wondering about one more thing... all I care about are the contact info I have stored. I don't care about the previous CiviCRM settings, etc.

In that case, would it be possible to just load a clean 2.2.6 and then somehow import the mySQL data (that has my contact info) into the clean 2.2.6 version?

you can try to an export from 2.1.x of your contacts and then import them into 2.2.x
