When I click the "New Individual" link, I want to have an option to add contributions that are associated with that individual on the initial entry page. Everyday, my staff enters tons of new individuals who have each made small contributions (1 to 20 dollars). To have them enter each individual, then open a separate donation window is needlessly time consuming.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hi - there will be in 2.3 out around Sept - see Sandbox here - http://sandbox.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/search?reset=1&force=1

see the 'create new' then choose Contribution - then you choose the individual concerned.

alternatively for fast input of lots of contributions you might want to consider dataentry to a spreadsheet and import - depends what you know about the contact.
