Maximum execution time of 30 sec exceeded when I add a new event

I just installed drupal, and civiCRM. I'm trying to add a new event in civiEvent, but keep getting this error after I fill out the form on step 1...

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home2/tkonline/public_html/drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/IDS/Monitor.php on line 412

Please help.

Same problem here, on 3.1.3 . It's a PHP timeout in IDS when saving a CiviEvent, not a permissions issue. See http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,11865.0.html .
