CiviMail uses wrong smtp server domain
June 24, 2009, 09:06:16 am
Error message when I set up smtp in Global Settings and hit "save and test email":
The mail library returned the following error message:
authentication failure [SMTP: Authentication failed. (code: 221, response: mail.networksolutionsemail.com)]
The smtp server domain name in this error message is completely incorrect, although I am trying to use a network solutions email server. In fact, I have never entered that domain at all.
The smtp server I entered in Global Settings is correct. Where is CiviMail pulling the other domain from?

Can you check if you have entered correct domain information: http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/domain?action=update&reset=1

Thanks for your response.
What domain information should I enter? My CiviCRM site uses one domain, but my email is through Network Solutions, and has a different domain.
