Looking for a Freelancer to Help with Writing SQL for CiviCRM Reporting

We are a statewide non-profit with about 500 members and a database with about 5000 contacts developing a website using Drupal 6 and CiviCRM 2.2. The goal is to centralize the organization's database in CiviCRM. The organization staff is Windows-based. We are fortunate to have a Microsoft database expert volunteering for us. We need to develop reporting capabilities. The plan is to create MySQL Views for reporting various data (ie conference registrants and their registration particulars, various contribution reports, membership reports, etc.). The views would be opened in MS Access via ODBC and report data formatted by MS Access. While we do have SQL expertise on hand, we don't have the required facility with CiviCRM's database structure. We're looking at developing upwards of 20 reports including a fair amount of custom fields. We're not rich and this would likely be a short-term engagement but it would be for a good cause. Anyone interested in discussing this with me?

Thanks,
Chrys

Chrys - before you embark on this, you should probably review the "CiviReport" functionality that's being released in the next week or so (v2.2.7). This phase will include 14 "report templates" which can be used to generate lots of specific report instances covering Constituent info, Contributions, Memberships and Events. I've been doing some QA on it and the coverage is pretty impressive.

One "hole" based on your brief description is that custom fields are not covered in this phase. However I think the framework should make it pretty easy to fold specific custom fields in for a given report.
