what do I do next after installation

I'm new to Joomla and Civicrm.  I've installed civicrm with Joomla, but the only way I'm currently able to get to Civicrm is by logging into Joomla as admin and going to the component menu.  What do I need to do to access the Civicrm Home directly from a URL?

Any help or pointer  to additional reference would be greatly appreciated

Please take some time to read and search the documentation at http://docs.civicrm.org/. We have spent a fair amount of resources on it.

You can expose only a small part of the functionality in the joomla frontend, moree details at:
