Hey folks,

I wanted to let you know that Kabissa's drupal/civi site is going to be launching shortly at http://www.kabissa.org - maybe as early as next week. 

This project overhauls the site design, upgrades the the custom work CiviCRM did for us in 2007 (see http://civicrm.org/node/202 ) to Drupal 6 and Civi 2.2, and adds organic groups for organisations and google map mashup. We are very excited about the new site, which is very clean and appears to be functioning very well.

There are some minor civi related issues we're trying to figure out still and may have to address later, but largely we are very happy with the new site and what it will enable our community to do to "connect for Africa". It's great to be back to core and we are looking forward to exploring all that Civi has to offer.

Please PM me if you if you'd like a preview of the site now or are interested in helping fix bugs or getting involved in configuring Civi on Kabissa as a volunteer.
