No groups appear/re-use mailing permission error/drupal page not found error
June 29, 2009, 08:43:20 am
If anyone can help I'd appreciate, as I can find no documentation about this problem at all.

Running Drupal 5, just upgraded to CiviCRM 1.9 from 1.7.

Can't send a mailing ???.  Finding 3 problems, probably all interrelated.

1) When I select New Mailing in the Mail Recipients box I get 2 buttons, Send & Cancel, but other than that the box is blank, I have no recipients to choose from.  So, of course, I can't choose recipients and can't go on to step 2.

2) If I then go and check the Drupal Logs, I notice my attempt has caused a "Page Not Found" error (although it never displayed on the screen).

3) When I select CiviMail to begin with, it lists all of the previous mailings from before the upgrade.  When I select "re-use" I get a permissions error -- this is even when I am logged in as admin for the whole site, with all permissions.
Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

When I search for ideas on how to resolve these problems, all I come up with is information about how so many CiviMail bugs were solved in 1.9.  :)  I'm sure they were, but not for me!!  :)  If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be ever so grateful.  Thanks much.

we dont support 1.9 any more (and to a large extent have forgotten most things about it). Seems like your issues are a bit more system related rather than specific to civimail (IMO)

upgrading to 2.2 is strongly recommended
