How to fix this error We could not find a contact id
June 29, 2009, 05:13:19 pm
This error appeared on the top of the screen when I (user 1 in drupal) logged into the site.
I could not go to /civicrm it would just kick me back to the www.site.com
I could go to civicrm/admin.
I tried to synchronize the database user in civicrm and it did not work.
So I went into the database and found record ONE in civicrm_uf_match and made sure the email matched the admin user from drupal.org (which I also went and edited) and it all started to work.

Why did this happen? Not sure. I think either during a move of the site a few months before this or while I was testing a profile form and I messed up entering my email.

Just to help others who see this error.

Alfred - not sure what happened. AFAIK the uf_match "matching" from CMS user to CiviCRM contact is done based on uf_id => contact_id in that table.

Might also be session related if you use something like 'Masquerade' module or devel switch. CiviCRM does not update it's session when the CMS does, last I knew.
