Author Topic: Unwanted PayPal Text Showing Up in Event Registration (Read 1013 times)

I've set up an Event registration form for one of my clients and we're using PayPal Website Payments Pro to process the Event Fees. For some reason, there is an instruction block showing at the top of the page that refers to a PayPal button that doesn't exist. We are not using custom templates and I checked BillingBlock.tpl in templates/Core/ and even if I remove the that text from the template, it's still in the Event page.

We're also not caching anything on the site. What file should I be editing to remove that text? Here's the URL.

Also, I noticed that there isn't anything on this page about multiple registrations, but we enabled the system to allow that. Does anyone know what might be going wrong?

You're page is "missing" the expected PayPal Express button (which I believe is required for all PayPal pro usage). Not sure if you've done some template customization to remove it - or possibly misconfiguration of the payment processor url's in Admin CiviCRM >> Global Settings >> Payment Processor.

That part of the page should have a button along w/ those "instructions" - like this one does:

That said, pretty sure removing the text from BillingBlock.tpl should get rid of it. Try clearing your smarty template cache (templates_c directory).

Regarding Multiple Registrations - perhaps double-check the Online Registration settings for THAT event and make sure the box is checked.
