CiviEvents how to install the date api patch

I have installed a very recent drupal 6.x and civicrm 2.2.3 but I do not know how to find the right file to patch or how to patch it. where and how do I do it?

nevermind... figured it out with a quick search of google... shame on me for not trying harder :)

but for those who cant figure it out all the info you need is in the patch file itself. It tells you the path to the file, the line of the code, and then which line(s) should be taken out, followed by the line(s) of code to replace it.
