Donation Widget + Joomla launches index2 with no site template

My widget launches a new window with site.org/index2.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&reset=1&id=4&widgetID=1 so I don't have the site template.

I saw similar older posts that were corrected with patches and updates. Those updates appear to be in this newest version of CiviCRM but I have the same problem.
