Install I get nothing
July 08, 2009, 02:21:12 pm
When I try to upload the civicrm through joomla extensions installer nothing happens it just sends me back to my control panel. My php.ini is set to 64 meg and 600 sec. I have tried a number of times and it just keeps sending me back to my control panel. I get no error message. I really want to use your system. I am using the latest version of your software and my joomla is 1.5.6. I am pretty new to all of this joomla as well as your program so any reply will needs to be in non techy speak.
Thank you

Please follow the installation guide:
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Joomla+Installation+Guide

You cannot install Civi using the browse>upload>install tool as the file is too large. You must use the install from directory option.
