Do CiviCRM pages load slowly with your Drupal theme or Admin Menu? Try "Chrome"

What?  I know!

Yes, it's true, the Google browser that people love to hate actually loads those bulky pages way more reliably and about 2x as fast as Firefox in my experience.  I have switched over to Chrome when I'm doing all my CiviCRM admin.  CiviCRM and Drupal admin pages (can you say the "modules" page anyone???) used to turn Mozilla into SlowZilla and it was driving me nuts.  Try Chrome and you might just say goodbye to 20sec load times and browser crashes.

When I try to load the CiviMail with Chrome and CiviCRM version 1.9, the HTML code will not load in step 3 when re-using a mailing.  This is also the behavior with I.E. 6.   FireFox works fine.   Could someone try Chrome with reusing a mailing with the latest CiviCRM version?  Or we'll report when we get there.

Thanks.

Hi,
Tested reusing a mailing with Chrome/CiviCRM 2.2.5 and it worked fine. All the pages loaded and I was able to submit the mailing.

Chrome continues to work waaay faster with my Drupal/CiviCRM for all my admin functions and surfing around CiviCRM.  My guess is because it handles the javascript for admin_menu module and google tracking code better.  I still use Firefox for Firebug when developing.
