iDeal Payment Processor (Dutch)

iDeal is a internet payment system, common accepted and used in the Netherland.

For a Dutch cancer fundraising event organisation it would be fine to have iDeal as Payment Processor integrated in CiviCRM. PayPal is not common used in the Netherlands.

I am not a script writer, therefore I am searching for help. Would someone be interested to develop the iDeal Payment Processor with me? That means: you are making the scripts and I give feedback, test and will do everything to make you comfortabel.

It is a non-payed job, I also work for free, like all our employees including staff. To give a little compensation for your work we offer you a place in our Hall of Fame, that's our list of sponsors on our site. You will be placed between organisation like the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG),  Hampshire Hotels, Air Canada and other mostly Dutch sponsors.
Our main goal is fundraising for cancer research. Therefore we organise events. One of our events has a world wide reputation.

We have found a Dutch organisation (and a php developer!) who wants to do this job. So we are starting the development of a new civicrm payment processor for iDeal. We are completely new in this.
From the iDeal organisation we have the develloper kit with usefull information and scripts.

Is there a page with information about the development of a civicrm payment processor?

There is no documentation per se, but there are quite a few payment processor examples that they can use as an example

Some notes for an older version of civicrm are here: http://idealso.com/civicrm/AUTHORIZENET_NOTES. We can help out on IRC as needed. We've moved ALL the settings to the database and integration is much easier in v1.8 than prior versions

Hi all,

I am new to this group. I am working partly voluntary, partly paid for quit a few charity projects in the Netherlands. CiviCRM looks quite promising and I will test it in the near future.

I will only be able to use CiviCRM if I can use our dutch online paying system 'ideal' on it. So I am very interested in the ideal-project msn has started. Maybe you could tell us more about the progress ? For your interest one of my projects is an 'open garden' project of a friend of mine who is in his final stage of lung cancer.
