Integrating civiCRM
August 12, 2007, 06:36:11 pm
I have customer data in a couple of different formats (ie excel and quickbooks).  We also often receive customer data manually.  Is it possible to integrate this data into civiCRM?  Or is it possible to export data from civiCRM into some other program?

Thanks!

CiviCRM uses csv (comma seperated values) to import / export data from the system.

Alternatively you can write your own custom import/export scripts using the CiviCRM API and/or directly accessing the database

You can get more information in our documentation at:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Documentation+Home
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/4.+Use+CiviCRM

or play around with the demo version at: http://demo.civicrm.org/drupal/

thanx
