Optimal Bounce Strategy - how many to be out /
July 13, 2009, 08:24:12 pm
Hi - we are doing some work on bounces.  How many bounces do you think we should receive before we count an email as out?   One strike and your out?   ... Or maybe 5 strikes and the email is out?  What do you think?

Doesn't the existing table have different threshholds depending on the type of bounce? I seem to recall it was something like 3 for mailbox full & 1 for host not found.
