Multiple Authorize.Net accounts supported?
July 14, 2009, 09:06:41 pm
In searching this topic I've found conflicting answers. Is it possible to set up more than one AuthorizeNet account and use a different one on each of several event registration pages? I realize normally a group has just one account; however, I'll be working on a site for an umbrella group that has a network of smaller groups around the nation. The umbrella group would like to host these local affiliates' event registrations all on its main site (as separate pages), but keep the funds segregated into each group's own merchant account (and/or PayPal).

you can have multiple payment processors and a different one for each event registration page (or for that matter some of the pages can share the same processor). Note that a single event registration page CANNOT have multiple payment processors. If the confliciting info was in the documentation, can you please fix it

thanx

I went to fix it (http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC21/CiviContribute+Multiple+Payment+Processors) but then realized the "no" response was about contribution pages, not event registrations. Do contribution pages follow the same rules you've mentioned here?

This is changed: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC21/CiviContribute+Multiple+Payment+Processors

It was an FAQ. I did not add one about events, though.
