Author Topic: Do Contribution Widgets (and thermometers) measure recurring donations too? (Read 948 times)

Does anybody know whether contribution widgets (and thermometers on personal campaign pages) measure only first-time gifts when users set up recurring donations? Or do they also reflect all future recurring donations?

I'm hoping they only reflect the first-time gift for this project. I can test it myself but wanted to see if anybody knew already.

if i had to guess, i'd say it measures all completed gifts. So if someone has done 3 out of 7 recurring donations, those 3 are counted by the widget

modify:

CRM/Contribute/BAO/Contribution.php, function getCurrentandGoalAmount

if you want to change this behavior

You are correct--it does, including recurring gifts. I just went ahead and tested it to make sure.
